Welcome to the Father Bob’s Scholarship Fund A Need.
Starting Monday, September 28, and continuing through Wednesday, October 7 we will host the Father Bob Scholarship Fund A Need. The goal of this challenge is to raise $75,000 for scholarships for students at St. Louis Catholic Academy.
As an added incentive a generous donor has issued a $25,000 Matching Gift for this Challenge. Any gift made between September 28-October 7 will be matched. This Matching Gift includes your personal contribution, as well as any corporate match your employer may provide.
Why is St. Louis Catholic Academy hosting a Scholarship Fund A Need?
Due to the Coronavirus and the local recommendations for social distancing, unfortunately accommodations are unavailable for us to safely gather for the dinner and auction at the Fr. Bob’s Golf Outing. Last year we raised over $50,000 at the awards dinner and auction. To ensure that no student would have the leave St. Louis Catholic Academy due to financial reasons we are hosting a Challenge this year with a goal of $75,000.
Where does my gift go?
For this campaign, we are asking you to make an investment in scholarships at St. Louis Catholic Academy. There are 186 students enrolled at St. Louis Catholic Academy this year, up from 131 last year. That’s over a 35% enrollment increase, which means scholarship support is needed now more than ever.
Explain the $25,000 Matching Grant.
Each donation made to St. Louis Catholic Academy during the Fr. Bob’s Scholarship Fund A Need September 28-October 7 will be worth double the amount. Donors who work for companies that match their giving can triple the amount of their donation during that time period!
How much should I contribute?
The goal of this campaign is to raise $75,000 for the students at St. Louis Catholic Academy. Every gift has an impact on the boys and girls at SLCA. If you have supported St. Louis Catholic Academy in the past, please consider matching your past level of support.
